...no doubt :) I can log in at the Pub Library but I can't "Reply" it prods me to log in again-again..but I can do a new post. Strange! anyhow... >>

"not really hating...

Ted's one helluva guitarist...one of the idols of my youth... and I don't hate him for his extreme views. I might think he's crazy, but I don't hate him.

And I posted with no editorial comment. If a liberal nut job was the subject of a thread here and I found something related, I'd post it as well".

Fair enough. (i mind read the editorial comment - haha)

You should feel privileged that I'm like a candle that comes to your mind when there is darkness! ;-) LOL

Is this worthy of a dancin icon - how do u do that?? it's pretty cool!

hope you can get that "reply glitch" straightened out soon

*but I didn't, nor will I comment on the other ongoing investigation of Mr. Nugent

Well, J, it's good to see another familiar face--handle--around here...Rob dropped by for the first time in months just yesterday, and now you.

And, yeah--I'd explain about Rasta, but nobody knows WTF he's up to...

;)

JK, Rasta--in fact, if you care, he was having an exchange with User Unknown, and his ability to "reply" within the thread was futz'd up, and he had to start a new one to finish off the discussion...

Hiya WT, thanks for the warm welcome and the background for rastamon's post.
I suppose logic and sense don't really come into it where Ted Nugent is concerned

I haven't been around much recently: I s'pose I don't have much more to say about the Grateful Dead.

Hope all is well with you and yours over on your side of the Atlantic.

"I s'pose I don't have much more to say about the Grateful Dead."

That's hardly a red card offence in this game, Mr H.

And yet that, or some other unexplained cosmic occurrence, seems to be keeping a lot of the old-timers away. The past few days have seemed like a reunion of sorts, and it is a pleasant surprise to see most of those MIA's show up.

There are bound to be all kinds of reasons why people stop coming here - one of which might well be that they feel they've said, and read, all they want to on the topic of the Grateful Dead. (I'm sure some of the fundamentalist heads might find that notion hard to contemplate.) Speaking for myself, I have little or no interest in purely Grateful Dead topics these days, but I do like to look in on my friends once in a while to say hello and find out how they're doing. How long I visit or stay away over any given period is entirely down to whim and (non cosmic) circumstance. In any event, it's good to know the door is always open and that people like you are never too far away.

Yeah - the ones who take it all entirely too seriously.

Rumours of the demise of the old fart tendency have been somewhat exaggerated.
